Description
46 and 48 High Pavement are two houses that have been converted into offices. They date from the late 18th century and have been altered in the mid 19th century and mid 20th century. The buildings are made of brick with a roughcast finish, topped with a slate roof and a ridge stack. They feature a rendered plinth, bands at the first and second floors, and rebated brick eaves. The structure has three storeys and a four-window range. On the left side, there are two six-pane sash windows, with the larger right window being segment-headed. On the right side, there are two 20th-century casement windows. Above, there are two plain sashes and two casements. The ground floor has three plain sashes, with the right one being segment-headed, and segment-headed doors beyond. There is also an altered casement on the far right. The buildings are included for their group value.
