Description
This warehouse, now disused, was constructed around 1860 to 1870, with alterations and additions made in 1909 by Taylor & Thraves for CH Taylor. The building is of red brick with ashlar dressings. The roof is concealed behind a coped parapet. Sill bands run across each floor, and a modillion cornice defines the top of the building. The main facade is three storeys high and has a three-window arrangement of plain sash windows, each with a brick flat arch above. To the left of the main facade are two similar windows. On the right, there is an early 20th-century wooden doorcase with a cornice supported by shaped brackets, a six-panel double door, and a glazed overlight. The right return side of the building is blank.
