Description

This is a late 18th-century and mid-19th century house, subsequently used as offices, and restored in the late 20th century. The exterior is of stucco and brick, with ashlar dressings and a slate roof. The house has a plinth and stands three storeys high, plus a basement, and originally had a two-window front. The windows are primarily margin-light sashes. A round-arched ashlar doorcase in the style of a Venetian window contains a renewed door and is flanked to the left by a single sash window. Above the doorcase, on each floor, there is a tripartite sash window to the right and a single sash to the left. There are two shouldered basement openings. The left return has irregular window placement with segment-headed, plain sashes. A mid-19th century brick addition to the rear is three storeys high and has a five-window range.
