Description

The boundary wall and gateway to numbers 409 and 411 on Mansfield Road were built in 1887 by Watson Fothergill of Nottingham. Constructed from rockfaced Bulwell stone with rubble coping, the wall runs along the front of the houses, parallel to Mansfield Road. At each end of the wall, there is a gateway featuring square stone piers topped with shaped caps. This structure is included for its group value.
