Description
Mr Man's Restaurant is a barn that has been converted into a restaurant, along with an attached cartshed that now serves as a store. The building dates from the late 18th century and mid 19th century, and it was restored and converted around 1989. It is constructed of brick and features roofs made of plain tiles and concrete tiles. The barn is two storeys high and has three bays, with coped gables. The central segment-arched doorway is now boarded up, and a smaller doorway has been added. Each side of the barn has three tiers of breathers, and to the left, there is a segment-arched hatch. Above the hatches, there are segment-arched windows from the 20th century on each side. Additionally, there are single-storey additions from the 20th century on each side, which contain toilets and shelter. Inside, the barn retains a mainly original king post roof with struts. Attached to the north end of the barn is the former cartshed, which is a single storey with nine bays. The openings are supported by brick piers, with all except the western opening now blocked.
