Description
Pear Tree Cottage, dated 1799, is a two-storey building constructed from colourwashed brick. The front features two sash windows with channelled lintels and a wooden doorcase that includes reeded pilasters, a small cornice hood, and a six-panelled door. An oval stone tablet on the first floor displays the name of the cottage along with the date of construction. There is also a fire insurance mark present. Later additions have been made to the rear of the cottage.
