Description
This is a late 18th or early 19th century cottage in Berwick Lane, Stanford Rivers. It is constructed of salmon-coloured brick with a red plain tiled roof. The cottage has two storeys and a two-window front. It features small-paned vertical sliding sash windows with stone surrounds and heavy, moulded drip hoods. The eaves and gables have pierced, very ornate bargeboards. A single-storey gabled porch, also with matching bargeboards, is enclosed to the front. The cottage has a plain board door. A central, attached octagonal chimney stack rises from the roof.
