Description

25-26 Iron Gate is an early to mid-19th century building constructed of red brick. It stands three storeys high and features four sash windows, each with flat brick arches above. The building has plain stone eaves and a blocking course. On the right-hand side, there is a segmental etched rusticated stone carriage arch. The ground floor has a modern shop front. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 25 to 27 (consecutive), Nos 28-32, and Nos 33 and 34.
