Description
The Three Houses Inn is a building consisting of four sections, with dates ranging from the late 17th century or early 18th century to the early 19th century. The exterior is now roughcast. The western part is from the early 18th century and features two storeys with two wide windows and a high-pitched roof that has a central chimney stack. To the south is an early 19th-century extension, also two storeys, with one window and a pentice at the southern end. To the east, there is a late 18th-century or early 19th-century range that is two storeys tall with four windows, and adjacent to it is a slightly later, taller and narrower two-storey range with four bays. All roofs are covered with stone flags, and the windows are sash style with glazing bars, although some have been replaced. The west face includes two canted bay windows.
