Description

This cart shed, now used as a cattle shed, is located approximately 75 metres south-south-west of Fryston Hall Farmhouse. It dates from the late 18th century and is constructed from magnesian limestone with a rendered finish and a stone slate roof. The building has a rectangular plan and is a single storey with three bays. The south front features three large round-headed arched entrances that have stepped surrounds and plain voussoirs. The shed forms the north side of the former stable courtyard associated with Fryston Hall.
