Description
The lodge to Byram Park is a late 18th-century building designed by John Carr. It is constructed of limewashed ashlar and features a Welsh slate roof. The lodge is square in shape with slightly projecting sections on each side and is a single storey with one bay. It has a plinth and a central six-fielded panel door set within a plain architrave, which is topped with a frieze and pediment. The roof has a stepped low parapet and a central stack with a cornice. The sides of the lodge originally had central window openings, which are now boarded over, and these openings are framed by an architrave with an apron, also surmounted by a frieze and pediment.
