Description

The boundary wall to the front garden of Cumberland Priory, built around 1840, features two sets of gate piers. Constructed from coursed gritstone, the wall is approximately 1.2 meters high and 30 meters long. It has rounded coping and gate piers located at the center and far right, opposite the entrance to Cumberland Priory. The piers are square in shape with chamfered corners and moulded caps for the pedestrian entrance. This structure is included for its group value with Cumberland Priory.
