Description

The cupola of the old church, located in the churchyard to the southeast of the Church of St Michael and All Angels, was built in 1761 and designed by John Carr. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a polygonal shape with segmental arches, a moulded cornice, an ogee dome, and a ball finial. This cupola is all that remains of the 18th-century church that was rebuilt in 1885.
