Description

Kirkgate 1. 1480 (East Side) Nos 8 and 20 SE 2045 1/196 18.5.72. II GV 2. Mid C19. 3 storeys in stone. 2-1-2 windows; band continues cills. Centre breaks forward under pediment, some hung sashes with glazing bars. Centre window on first floor has pediment and plain pilasters. Modern shop fronts and centre passage. Included as part of a group. See Former Tobacco warehouse to rear.

Nos 2 to 8 (even) and Nos 20 and 22 form a group. Nos 8 and 20 also form a group with Former Tobacco Warehouse to rear of Nos 8 and 20.
