Description

No. 40 Market Place is an early 19th-century building that stands three storeys tall, constructed of painted stone with brick on the sides. It features a stone slate roof and has one window without glazing bars, with a band that continues across the cills. The first-floor window has been altered by a fascia for a modern shop.
