Description
Nos 32 and 34 Market Place are 18th-century buildings that stand three storeys tall, constructed of stone with a stone slate roof and two stone stacks. Each side of the central entrance features a three-storey bay window, and a moulded eaves cornice runs around the tops of these bays. There is also one additional window and a flat carriage arch to the left. The interior has been modernised and includes former stables in the yard at the rear, which are two storeys high and made of stone with lintels above the windows. These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos 30 to 40 (even), Nos 22 and 24, as well as Leeds House Cafe, Butter Cross, and Jubilee Clock.
