Description

Scott's Almshouses boundary wall with gate piers dates from around 1896. It is constructed of red brick with stone coping and piers. The wall is approximately 50 meters long and features a double gateway at the center, flanked by three square stone piers that are about 2 meters high and topped with moulded capstones. The low flanking walls are about 1 meter high. This structure is part of the almshouse group.
