Description
No. 396 Selby Road is a house dated 1744, with alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of brick and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and three windows. The entrance is located on the right and consists of a panelled door with an overlight, surrounded by a moulded frame with consoles that support a cornice. The original sash windows, which had glazing bars, have been replaced with top-hung casements and are topped with flat brick arches. There is a brick string course at the first-floor level and dentilled eaves. A carved datestone displaying 'TW/1744' is located on the first floor. The interior has not been inspected.
