Description
Ivy House is a house built in the mid-18th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of brick and has a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys with attics and features five windows on the south front, although the central window is blind. To the right of the centre, there is a glazed door with an overlight set in a modern surround. The window openings are segmental-arched and underbuilt in brick, with flat-arched sashes that have glazing bars. The facade includes a first-floor band and a dentilled eaves cornice, along with rebuilt end stacks. The road-facing facade features a central panelled door with an overlight and a surround with console brackets. The ground floor has plate-glass sashes, and there is a round-headed stair window with replaced glazing bars, along with three sashes with glazing bars on the first floor. A gable window with a 9-pane sash is located on the left return. The interior has not been inspected.
