Description
No. 394 Selby Road is a house from the early 19th century that has undergone extensive alterations. The roof is now covered with cement tiles, and the copings and stacks have been rebuilt. The original paired eaves brackets have been removed, and plastic guttering has been installed. The sash windows, which originally had glazing bars, have been replaced with aluminium frames, and the door has also been changed. The interior has not been inspected, but the alterations were made without proper authorization, leading to action taken by the City Council to address the situation.
