Description
The boundary wall to Grosvenor House, located on Grosvenor Mount, dates from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of coursed squared gritstone, with cast-iron railing on part of the wall. The overall length of the wall is approximately 105 meters, with the northern 25 meters featuring the railing. The section that returns onto Grosvenor Mount extends for about 7 meters and includes a gateway that has been extensively rebuilt. The stretch along Grosvenor Road is stepped downhill and features ramped and pilastered divisions, along with rounded coping. This wall is included for its group value.
