Description

This is an early to mid-19th century barn combined with two weavers’ houses, forming a single range. The building is constructed of hammer-dressed stone, with quoins on the north elevation of the barn. It has a pitched roof covered with stone slates and features stone brackets and coped gables to No. 92.

No. 94 has a south elevation with a ground floor entrance with stone surrounds and a single four-light stone mullioned window. The first floor has a ten-light stone mullioned window. The former barn has a large central doorway with a semicircular arched head, now blocked with modern glass infill, and a small light in the west gable. No. 92 has a ground floor with two three-light stone mullioned windows, from which the mullions have been removed, a central doorway, and a first floor with a twelve-light stone mullioned window, where alternate mullions have also been removed. A lean-to extension is attached to the east gable. No. 92 is included for its group value.
