Description
Hill Top is a weaver's house built around 1840. It is constructed from hammer-dressed stone that has been painted, and features a slightly pronounced plinth. The roof is pitched and covered with stone slate. The house is two storeys high.
On the south elevation, the ground floor includes a four-light stone mullioned window with a pronounced sill and an entrance that has a stone surround. The first floor has a seven-light stone mullioned window, also with a pronounced sill. The north elevation features a four-light stone mullioned window on the first floor and a lean-to extension on the ground floor. Hill Top is included for its group value.
