Description
This mid-19th century weaver's house is located 30 yards northeast of Forest Farm. It is constructed from hammer-dressed stone, with some parts rendered, and features a pitched stone slate roof with coped gables. The house has three storeys.
On the south elevation, the ground floor includes a central doorway with stone surrounds and tie-stones, flanked by two three-light stone mullioned windows. The first floor has two four-light stone mullioned windows, while the second floor features two three-light stone mullioned windows.
The east gable has a later single-storey rendered extension. The west elevation shows a single light window on the ground floor, a former three-light stone mullioned window on the first floor (with one light blocked), and two two-light stone mullioned windows on the second floor.
On the north elevation, there is a small central doorway at ground level, along with a single-storey lean-to extension. The first floor has a central loading door that has been partly blocked to create a window, and a small modern single light. The second floor contains two three-light stone mullioned windows.
