Description

Lane Side House is a weaver's house built in the late 18th century, constructed in two stages. It features hammer-dressed stone with quoins and a stone slate roof. The near-central door is flanked by a 5-light window on each side. On the first floor, there is one 8-light window and one 5-light window, both of which have one blocked light. To the right, there is a single bay of 3-light windows, with the ground floor having a later adjoining doorway. The rear elevation has been altered. A former barn to the right is now a separate cottage and is not included in this listing.
