Description

The War Memorial, built around 1920, is made of stone. It features a square plinth that supports a square pedestal adorned with unfluted Doric columns and a full entablature. At the top, there is a well-sculpted female figure holding a wreath and palm. The pedestal bears the inscription "TO THE MEN OF HUNSWORTH WHO SERVED IN THE GREAT WAR 1914-1919," along with a list of names on the pedestal and two other sides.
