Description
This is a detached manor house dating from the late 18th century, with enhancements from the 19th century. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone with rusticated quoins, and has a gabled stone slate roof. The design is symmetrical, with a three-bay facade. The central doorway is accentuated by a 19th-century Ionic portico featuring a segmental open pediment. 19th-century canted bays are situated on either side, topped with an entablature and blocking course. The first floor has a central single light window, with paired lights to the left and right, all featuring recent casements. The pediment contains an oval light with glazing bars. The garden front is similar, but with simpler detailing. A cartouche is present in the pediment, and the apex features an ashlar stack with scrolled support and a moulded string.
