MELTHAM ROAD 1. (south-west side) 5113 SE 1213 and SE 1313 47/1437 Netherton II GV The Whitley Beaumont Estate Cattle Troughs at 1228 1301

  1. Pair of cattle troughs. Date uncertain, possibly C18. Large stone troughs set at right-angles to road. Although on the opposite side of the road to Netherton Well (qv) the troughs are not connected to this: they are fed independently and are not a feature of the former turnpike road.
