Description
Fold Farmhouse, dating from the 17th century, is located on the west side of Netherton Fold. The building is rendered and features a pitched stone slate roof with coped gables. It has a twin-gabled front, although the third gable on the east side has been removed due to road widening. The farmhouse is two storeys high. The upper windows are adorned with hoodmoulds. The left-hand range includes two-light sash windows with stone mullions that are recessed within the frame. The right-hand range features casements with chamfered stone mullions, with a five-light window on the first floor and a three-light window on the ground floor. Additionally, on the rear elevation, the first-floor window of No 26 also has a hoodmould and one chamfered stone mullion.
