Description
The Vicarage, located on the north side of Church Lane in South Crosland, is a mid-19th century building constructed from ashlar stone. It features a pitched modern tile roof with coped gable ends supported by moulded kneelers. The structure is two storeys high and includes a decorative band. There are three ranges of sash windows with glazing bars, with the easternmost range projecting forward and topped by a gable. The entrance door is adorned with a semi-circular fanlight set within concentric ashlar reveals, complete with a keystone. The portal slightly projects and has an ashlar blocking course topped by a pediment-shaped acroterion. The east elevation displays two window ranges that also project forward symmetrically, each crowned by pediment-shaped acroteria.
