Description
Ing Head is a building dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century, with a later 19th-century dwelling added to the northeast. Originally, it consisted of four dwellings and is constructed from hammer-dressed stone with quoins and a pitched stone slate roof. The building is two storeys tall.
On the northwest elevation, the two dwellings on the right are mirrored, each featuring an entrance with a deep lintel, one two-light stone mullioned window on the ground floor, and one three-light window on the first floor. The central cottage has an entrance and one four-light window on the ground floor, along with two three-light windows on the first floor. To the left, there is a late 19th-century cottage that has a blocked doorway and an adjoining sash window.
On the southeast elevation, there is one twelve-light and one three-light stone mullioned window. The northeast elevation features modern garage doors and a single light window on the first floor.
