Description

The cottage at Shepley Bridge Locks, likely a former lock-keeper's cottage, dates from the early 19th century and has been altered over time. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone and features a hipped stone slate roof with a central brick chimney. The building is single storey, with a central door flanked by a single light window on each side. There is also one window on each side elevation. This cottage is listed for its group value context.
