Description
This building is a warehouse and former textile building dating from around 1800. It is constructed of coursed sandstone with a stone slate roof. The structure has three storeys and is arranged in four bays, with a rectangular plan that includes a two-storey projection to the east under a catslide roof. There is also a brick workshop to the north, which is not considered of special interest.
On the south side, there are six stone-mullioned windows with projecting sills, along with seven other windows, most of which have plain stone surrounds. The western side features a gabled design with three large, superposed taking-in doors and a small crane above. The second and third storeys have mullioned windows, and both the windows and doors have plain stone surrounds, with the doors having jambs that are broken by tiestones. The east side is also gabled and is largely obscured by the two-storey projection, but it does have two mullioned windows with multiple panes located on the third storey.
