Description

This canal lock, located 400 yards east of Lodge Farm, dates from around 1769 and was engineered by John Smeaton. It features stone sides, which have undergone some repair work, along with concrete copings. The lock has two pairs of wooden gates, each equipped with steel, box section push-bars.
