Description
Greenwood Lock is a canal lock built around 1769, designed by engineer John Smeaton. It features deeply coursed stone sides and coping, along with two pairs of wooden gates, one of which has recent box section steel push-bars. There is a recent wooden bridge, and the approach to each side is setted.
