Description
3 and 3A Low Westwood Lane are early to mid 19th century cottages constructed from hammer dressed stone that is rendered and painted. They feature a pitched stone slate roof, which has been bitumenised, and a gable stack. The cottages are two storeys high.
On the southeast elevation, the ground floor includes an entrance with a modern porch and a later two-light stone mullioned window. The first floor has three three-light stone mullioned windows.
The northwest elevation has three doorways on the ground floor, two of which have stone surrounds; one doorway is partially blocked to create a single light. There is also one three-light stone mullioned window and one single light. The first floor features two two-light stone mullioned windows and one single light.
