Description
Moorside House and Moorside Farm Cottage are a farmhouse and cottage located on Storthes Hall Road in Kirkburton. The farmhouse dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century, while the cottage was built in the early to mid-19th century. Both buildings are constructed from hammer-dressed stone and feature quoins on the farmhouse. They have a stone slate roof and stone brackets supporting the gutter of the house. The farmhouse is two storeys tall, with a central doorway, a 2-light window to the left on both floors, and a 3-light window to the right on both floors. The cottage, situated to the left of the farmhouse, has one 3-light window on the ground floor and two 3-light windows on the first floor.
