Description
No. 44 Manor Road is a house that dates from the 17th century or early 18th century, with mid-19th century and recent alterations. It is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and features quoins. The stone slate roof has hollow chamfered gable copings on cut kneelers and includes later stone stacks. The building is two storeys high, with a central doorway that has a deep, shaped lintel and a chamfered surround. On either side of the doorway, there is one 4-light double chamfered window with a hood mould, although some of the mullions have been removed and there have been some alterations. The first floor has two 2-light 19th century windows.
