Description
No. 2 Farnley Hey is a house that is part of a row, dating from the late 18th century and has been altered. It is constructed from hammer-dressed stone with quoins and features a stone slate roof that is turned. The gables have copings on out kneelers, and there are gable stacks, one made of ashlar and the other repaired. The house has two storeys, with a near central doorway that has a very deep lintel. To the right of the doorway, there is a three-light window on both floors. To the left, the ground floor has a four-light window with a king mullion, while the first floor features an eight-light window that has some alterations, with some of the mullions being recessed.
