The Lumb is an 18th-century building constructed of hammer-dressed stone, originally listed as The Lumbs. It features a pitched roof covered in stone slate. The building is two storeys high and has distinctive windows: one 14-light stone mullioned window on the first floor, and two 3-light stone mullioned windows on the ground floor.
