Description

This is an early 18th-century building, with a later 18th-century addition, originally comprising two dwellings. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone, with some parts rendered, and features quoins. The corners of the north elevation are chamfered. The roof is pitched and covered in stone slate.

The western part of the building has a south elevation featuring a rendered entrance surround on the ground floor and a four-light stone mullioned window above. The first-floor window is chamfered and recessed. The north elevation shows a ground-floor entrance with a stone surround, and a four-light stone mullioned window below, where two mullions have been removed. Above this is a three-light stone mullioned window, also chamfered and recessed.

The eastern section of the building has a south elevation with a single-light opening, likely a former doorway, and a three-light stone mullioned window on the ground floor, both recessed. The first floor has a four-light stone mullioned window which is recessed. The north elevation shows a blocked-up doorway with a stone surround and tie-stones, and a three-light stone mullioned window on the ground floor, which is recessed. The first floor has a matching three-light stone mullioned window, also recessed.
