Description

This is a range of farm buildings at Bagden Hall Farm, possibly originally a house, dated 1659 but rebuilt at the rear in the 19th century. The buildings are constructed of hammer-dressed stone, with quoins on the right side. The roof is made of stone slate, featuring gable copings and cut kneelers on the right. There are two entrances; the left one is more elaborate, with a Tudor arch and a moulded surround. Both entrances have an inscribed lintel that reads "1659 H.G.H," with the figure 9 written backwards. The facade includes two large and one small 2-light double chamfered windows, with all ground floor openings situated under a continuous hood mould. At the rear, there is a continuous outshut from the 19th century, and the right gable also features double chamfered windows.
