Description
This is a range of farm buildings located approximately ten metres to the west of Agglethorpe Hall. They date from the late 17th century to early 18th century and into the early 19th century. The buildings are constructed of rubble with ashlar dressings and feature a stone slate roof.
The structure is two storeys high and has a total of six first-floor openings. On the left side, there is an earlier building with three first-floor openings, and it has quoins. The ground floor includes a two-light mullion window without a mullion, a chamfered door surround, a single-light window, another chamfered door surround, and a single-light window. The first floor features a two-light mullion window, a pitching door, and another two-light mullion window. There is a shaped kneeler and ashlar coping on the left side.
To the right, a 19th-century range has been added. On the ground floor of this section, there are two segmental-arched cart openings with quoined surrounds, interspersed with three stable doors, and board openings leading to the hayloft above.
