Description
This building is a cottage attached to the east of Number 3 Little Hollin Hey, originally constructed in the early 18th century and later raised to two storeys in the early 19th century. It is made of hammer-dressed stone and features a stone slate roof. The cottage has two storeys, with the ground floor on the south front showcasing a chamfered mullioned window with six lights, a king mullion, and two additional windows with three lights each. The first floor has a different stonework style, featuring four flat-faced mullioned windows with two lights, two of which are missing their mullions. There is a single stack on the ridge. At the rear, there is a doorway with monolithic jambs and an inserted cart entry, while the first floor includes a three-light flat-faced mullioned window.
