3/80 Cottage to north west of Lane Top Farmhouse

House now used for agricultural purposes. Early C18. Hammer-dressed stone (watershot) stone slate roof. 2 storeys. Quoins. South front has symmetrical arrangement of 2 bays of chamfered mullioned windows of 4 lights with 3-light window over (most mullions removed). Left hand return wall has 2-light window to lst floor as does right hand return wall (both with mullion removed) which has gable entry under with tie stones. Ridge lacks stack, but formerly had one to centre as flat arched fireplace reveals which has projecting shelf.
