Description

BRIGHOUSE TOWNGATE, CLIFTON SE 12 SE (south side) 4/175 No. 30 II

House. Early C19. Hammer-dressed stone, stone slate roof. 3 storey south front has symmetrical 3-bay facade with quoins. Doorway with composite jambs flanked by large sash window the left one retaining its 16 pane glazing. Over are two 3-light flat faced mullioned windows with projecting sill, right hand has one mullion removed, single light over door. Second floor has sill band with 15-light weaving loft window (4 lights solid). Gable stacks. Back-to- earth rear has top storey level with road, with doorway with monolithic jambs flanked by single light sash windows. This face rendered.
