Description

BURNLEY ROAD 1 1164 (North Side ) Part of former house front in car park to Allan Fold Public House (formerly listed as retaining wall on south side of Working Men's Club, Allan Fold) SE C2 SE 7/142 3.11.54 II 2. Dated 1654. Ground storey only, apparently re-arected. Stone in traditional style. Arched doorway with 5-light mullioned and transomed windows each side under continuous dripmoulding with carved label each end. Date stone in centre with inscription said to read IWAW.
