Description
Old Hall, dated 1690 but possibly older, was originally one house. It is a traditional stone structure with a stone roof. The building features a single-storeyed centre with paired four-light mullioned and transomed windows, and two lights above the door at the south end. There are gabled cross wings, and a two-storeyed porch with an arched door is attached to the inner face of the south wing. The north wing has later stone-framed windows. The south wing is rendered, but it retains a stepped mullioned and transomed upper window, along with carved labels to the drip mouldings on both storeys. The rear of the building has been altered. One gate pier with a moulded entablature remains at No 110, dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. The service wing to the north of No 106 is not included in this listing.
