Description
148 Scar Bottom is a 17th-century stone house, built on a traditional design with a stone roof. The east end of the house is built into the hillside below the road. The south front has been altered, but retains a six-light mullioned and transomed upper window. A western section was added or reconstructed, featuring stone-framed windows. A later porch has been added to the front, along with a lean-to at the rear and an addition to the west.
