Description
This is a barn attached to Whitestone Clough, located on the south-west side and dated 1856. It is constructed from coursed squared stone with a stone slate roof and consists of three bays. The central feature is a round-arched cart entry with a board door, tie stones, imposts, and a raised keystone. There are board doors at either end, each with plain stone surrounds and tie stones; the left doorway has a narrow window to its right. Above the cart entry, there is a round-arched light with a dated sill, flanked by blind lunettes. An outshut has been added to the left gable. At the rear, there are quoins on the right end and a blocked threshing door that includes a window. Inside, the barn features queen post roof trusses and reused purlins.
